EUROLINE® PREMIUM

Euroline® Premium
is a new high performance netting which has been developed over two
years by the R&D Division of the Euronete Group of Companies
Extensive testing and analysis has finally enabled us to present you
this new material as follows:
• Approx. 50%
stronger than standard
braided polyethylene netting.
• Approx. 20% stronger than standard
Euroline® netting.
• Approx. 15% stronger than nylon
netting of same runnage.
This
new Euroline® Premium
netting will have the following advantages:
• Single Mesh instead of double can now be used in
larger cod ends.
• Smaller twine can be used in existing trawls so
greater towing speed
can be achieved.
• Lower fuel consumption.
• Economical - the new product is much more economical
than knotless
netting material and only slightly higher than standard
Euroline® netting
• Clean fishing, easy handling and good knot stability.
• Good abrasive resistance and stable elongation.
BOTTOM TRAWL APPLICATIONS
This is a significant point where there is a big
advantage in using Euroline®
Premium.
• Smaller diameter twines with the same breaking strength can
be used.
• You can choose lighter weight trawls or stronger trawls if
the same twine is
chosen.
MID WATER TRAWL APPLICATIONS
•
Euroline® Premium
netting is made
with filaments that are stronger than
nylon fibers
• Euroline® Premium
netting provides
characteristics very suitable for mid
water trawl applications:
• Good elongation
• Good shock absorption
• Good stretch recovery
• High strength, high abrasion
resistance

Euroline® Premium
is a polyethylene netting which in addition to its high strength
and abrasion resistance, clean fishing as found with all
polyethylene materials.

COMPARISON OF NEW EUROLINE® PREMIUM
WITH STANDARD EUROLINE® AND BRAIDED
NYLON
TWINES
METERS PER KILO (RUNNAGE) VS BREAKING STRENGTH
The
ratio between runnage and breaking strength is as follows:
Euroline®
Premium - 12,23
Euroline® - 9,60
Nylon - 10,15
The fact that Euroline®
Premium has a better ratio than nylon is confirmation
that lighter twines can be used in the construction of trawls.
